Core’s Biometric Site Access Control system confirms the identity of people as they enter and leave a site. The system was specifically developed for the security needs of Construction sites where increasing emphasis in the industry is being placed on site security and Health and Safety. It reinforces security by reliably verifying the authenticity of employees, subcontractors and visitors to ensure authorised access.
Features
- Technology Independent- The system is biometric independent meaning construction companies can select the best-fit technology whether its fingerprint, hand geometry, iris or facial or perhaps a mix of multiple biometric and ID technologies.
- Enrolment and User Management - The system captures and records basic contact details and site access dates. Authorised operators can search, add and update the list of all users enrolled on the system. The system maintains a historical record of when each employee, subcontractor or visitor arrived on site.
- Real-time Monitoring – A real-time display of how many people are on site is available.
- Access Rules - Access profiles can be set up for each user e.g. security clearance dates, site access dates, authorised access areas. Alarms can be generated when an unauthorised person attempts to access the site using a biometric reader.
- Card Printing / Image Capture - Produces photo identification cards on site.
- Complete Audit Trail of Events - Every event within the system is recorded in an audit trail along with alarms and operator actions. Authorised personnel can view the full event history.
- Reports – A range of pre-defined reports are available such as: Who’s on site? Who arrived late? Who left early?
