One Touch
Core’s Integrated Security Management system provides a single interface to manage all electronic security and access control devices. One Touch can interface with a range of security devices including: electronic lock controllers, biometrics, intercoms, intruder alarms, personal attack alarms, proximity tag readers, perimeter fencing and CCTV.

- Incident Management – One Touch is a real time system allowing operators in the control room to see what’s happening as it happens. The system generates alerts when an exception condition arises. It provides operators with all pertinent information and greater situational awareness when responding to incidents and enhances operator control capabilities.
- Access Control – One Touch is an effective tool for Security staff to manage access control. One Touch shows the location of multiple groups, i.e. staff, visitors and prisoners, to ensure that appropriate access rules are maintained according to designated security levels. The flow of people can be managed as required. At shift change staff can quickly move through the front gate yet at other times movement through sensitive areas can be constrained to limit the risk and scale of potential incidents.
- People Management – The people management facility supports incident management by providing position information by individual and group. Security staff can therefore assess the risk to people in the proximity of the incident. The One Touch system can also locate people with specialist skills such as negotiators or first aiders.
- Systems Resilience – One Touch is designed for mission critical environments with built-in, fail-safe procedures that help protect against software, hardware and network failure. An autonomous system, it constantly monitors for any problems and displays alerts through the interface. Hence action can be taken locally without the need to call in external support. This minimises system downtime, keeping the system available for use.
