Identi
IDenti is an access control system utilising biometric technology to uniquely identify personnel, control their access to premises and monitor their access within premises. IDenti is modular in format so that additional functionality can be introduced as required.
Features
- Centralised Management – Identi is based on biometric enrolment of users to enable access to facilities and to manage and monitor access within facilities.
- Configurable – Each site can be uniquely configured with designated zones and access rules to determine the level of access for different groups of people.
- Real-Time Dynamic Maps – IDenti provides operators with individual position monitoring and with real-time dynamic maps. The system clearly displays who is on the site at any given time. Historical information is also available.
- Alerts – IDenti alerts operators to abnormal system activity with alarm status information.
- Visitor Module – The IDenti Visitor module monitors site access for temporary visitors such as contractors, staff from other sites, lawyers and government officials. Visitors are enrolled onto the system and their biometric templates are available to the main access control module while they are on site. IDenti can also produce photographic identity passes.
- Head Count – IDenti can also be used for mustering purposes. In an emergency situation each individual has to present at the nearest muster reader. Hence accurate information about everyone’s position down to zone level can be established. The same concept can be applied to facilitate head counts.
- Guard Tour – The IDenti guard tour application can determine when a guard has failed to reach a check in point on a set route at the allocated time. An alarm can be generated at the control console in this situation.
- Reports – IDenti has full data capture, enquiry and reporting facilities.
