Patricia became Managing Director of Core in 2005. Since taking up the post she has led the company through a programme of development and growth. Core were among winners in the Deloitte Technology Fast 50 Awards in 2005, 2006, 2007 and 2008, marking the company as one of the fastest growing technology companies in Ireland. Profitability increased from single figures in 2005 to 30% in 2008.

Patricia has almost 20 years experience in the IT industry and brings a diverse range of professional experience to Core. It is the combination of her experience, commitment and determination which has resulted in Core’s continued growth and success.

Patricia is an international speaker on Corrections Technology and has been invited to present at a number of industry forums (see Presentations). In 2008, Ernst and Young recognised Patricia as one of Ireland’s Entrepreneurs of the Year. She was also the winner of the University of Ulster Entrepreneur of the Year competition in 2008, which was featured in a BBC documentary entitled Chasing the Dollar.
